UIS Summer Immersion Camp: Exploring Toronto

Our Summer Immersion campers didn’t just experience UIS this summer — they experienced Toronto!

Alongside their classroom learning, campers set out on a series of field trips designed to bring the city to life. From the roaring waters of Niagara Falls to the art and architecture of the Aga Khan Museum, to the exhibits of the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) and many more stops along the way, campers explored the culture, history, and landmarks that make Toronto such a unique place to learn and grow. Combined with our academic program, these excursions gave campers a truly immersive experience — building English skills, confidence, and unforgettable memories, all at once.

UIS 2026 BBQ Party!

Summer at UIS wrapped up with a celebration to remember — our annual BBQ Party!

Students came together for an afternoon of great food, friendly competition, and fun in the sun. Our photobooth was a huge hit, with students striking poses and capturing memories throughout the day, while a lineup of games kept the energy high from start to finish. Along the way, students collected stamps for each game and activity they completed, working toward a well-earned reward of ice cream and popcorn. It was the perfect way to celebrate our community and send summer off in style.
