University Stream
Students entering Grade 12 are encouraged to follow our UIS Academic Tracking System. UIS University Stream has four broader general fields with necessary prerequisite courses to meet the admission requirements for most university programs. For electives, you can choose from courses available at UIS including the arts, international languages, and drama.

Engineering Stream
Engineering programs in Ontario require a minimum of 5 Core courses. You will be allowed to choose one elective (U or M) course to add up to the 6 courses used to generate your calculated average for consideration into the program.

This stream is for students who wish to learn Science & Math. This includes Computer Science, Life Sciences, Actuarial Science, and the core sciences like Physics and Chemistry. Science programs normally require 5 Core courses and 1 elective (U or M) course to add up the 6 courses used to generate your calculated average for consideration.

High-performance Sports stream
This stream of programming is designed for the athlete who has serious aspirations to train and compete at the next level. Students are able to work with a professional that specializes in skill development through strength and conditioning that is customized to their athlete goals. This stream offers the best athlete conditioning practices for hockey, baseball, and golf.
