UIS English and Mathematics Contest is an opportunity for students to experience the Canadian high school system and test their mathematical and English skills.

Students in Vietnam in Gr. 9 to Gr. 12 years of secondary school who wish to experience the Ontario high school system in Canada.

Mathematics
âĒÂ 1.5 hour
âĒÂ 5 â 7 questions: students are required to write all solving processes to receive a full score.

âĒÂ 1.5 hour
âĒÂ 1 or 2 pages of length
âĒÂ Test will include four learning components; reading comprehension, writing, speaking, and listening. The contents will be adapted according to each grade.

Award
UIS will award a total of 12 scholarships for winners and unlimited free registrations for contestants. The participants in grades 9 to 11 need to submit their recent school transcripts to UIS. The prizes for the contest will be considered based on the test results and candidatesâ GPAs.
This is what you can win:
âĒÂ 1st prize: (2 winners): $6000 value (3 credits) of scholarship
âĒÂ 2nd prize: (4 winners): $4000 value (2 credits) of scholarship
âĒÂ 3rd prize: (6 winners): $2000 value (1 credit) of scholarship
No winning candidates who join the event will still get a free registration fee (350 CAD) if they apply to UIS (Valid until the end of June 2022)!

Both English and Math contest registration will be done online. We strongly encourage registering early.
STEP
Once you register, you will receive a confirmation email with the login information. The test will be available on Schoology (Schoology is the UIS learning management system).
