CEMC Waterloo math contests

UIS’s most outstanding students received distinctions in the CEMC Fermat and Euclid Contests.
The Fermat and Euclid Contests challenge students to apply their mathematical knowledge and problem-solving skills to a variety of unique questions. Congratulations on these excellent achievements, as well as to all students who participated in the contests. We look forward to seeing even greater accomplishments from you in the future!

ICEF FAm tour - connecting uis to the world

This event was a great opportunity to strengthen global partnerships and showcase the supportive, diverse, and student-focused environment at UIS. We’re excited about the future collaborations and opportunities this will bring for our students.
From April 30 to May 2, 2026, UIS proudly hosted our ICEF FAM Tour as part of the ICEF event taking place in Toronto.
ICEF (International Consultants for Education and Fairs) is a globally recognized platform that connects educational institutions with international student recruitment agencies from around the world. We were pleased to welcome agencies to our campus and introduce them to the UIS community.

canada's wonderland trip - a day full of fun

On May 29, students enjoyed an exciting trip to Canada’s Wonderland, creating fun and unforgettable memories with friends and classmates.
From thrilling rides to tasty food and shared laughter throughout the day, it was a great chance for students to relax, connect, and enjoy time outside the classroom. Experiences like these continue to build school spirit and strengthen student relationships.
